Two questions, first is there anyway to edit my user name. I have a "smart" phone that can't spell
Also, I have a 2004 Ford f250 super duty diesel pickup. A few weeks ago my radio started switching channels and the volume would increase. I turned it off for about 5 minutes and never had another problem. Today I went out and started the truck, rolled the Windows down to get the fog off, then went to feed while the truck warmed up. When I pulled out of the drive way, I realized the clock/radio, interior lights, and Windows were not working. I had gone about a 1/4 mile (still on my dirt road) so I stopped and turned off the truck (wanted to make sure I could start it, so I wouldn't be stranded). The truck is still down there
Does anyone have a clue what caused this. Other than the radio that one time I have never had any trouble at all with this truck. I though maybe a blown fuse or a bad battery. I did try to jump it but the only thing I had was my little john deer gator. I don't think its strong enough.
I did have the oil/filter changed last week, and I use Lucas fuel additive.

Reason: because its hard to type on a phone
I would check batts and also check what type of filter was put on your truck when oil was changed. Where did you take it you CAN NOT let just anybody do a oil change in a 6.0 .
Directions for how to test the FICM voltage are in the tech folder and also over on FICMrepair.com on the FAQ page. I'd also be curious to see what the voltage on the batteries were. As was stated, fried batteries can cause all sorts of issues!
