Thanks All! Getting exciting now that I can finally move on to the chassis build. Probably one of the most enjoyable aspects of the build & not too difficult.

Front suspension, brakes all around and now the rear axle are in place.
I pushed the engine outside last night and gave it a quick squirt of "MAGIC SOAP" and a quick rinse and it looks very nice now. With exception of a slight amount of surface rust forming on engine mounts it looks pretty new.

YAHOO!

Friend stopped by to help for a bit this evening and we were able to get the chassis off the cart on to jack stands and get the engine and trans in place.

Tomorrow is "buy tires day" and it will be a rolling chassis!

Next up is to get the cab fitted to the chassis . . .

Looks great,,,, I actually have a nice 302 from a 73 Bronco because the guy had bought a wrecked Ecoboost and was going to do the swap,,, but he was in Madera Ranchos,,, not Phoenix,,!!
Keep it up!!

Ecoboost in a Bronco!? That thing would be an unstable rocket! And very cool.

Most of my stuff has been stock type restorations. Have never strayed too far from stock . . . A few engine swaps, I like the stock appearing type. A few subtle exterior mods & nothing more. Back in 1996 I bought a new Ranger because I had a supercharged 5.0 that needed a home . . .100% stock on outside and was a wonderful swap at the time.

This one is no doubt the deepest I have gotten into one and by far the most mods. Still hoping to have exterior with exception of tires and wheels the only eyecatcher. 95% of the stuff I have done has been Big Block Fords so this one is way out of the normal box! I need a nice daily driver that gets great mileage, decent power & A/C along with a few other comforts. This was the cheapest way I could think of to get that.

I would like to also see the Bronco~Ecoboost swap. Any info on that? Problem with a eco swap is the standalone computer the only one I am aware of is well over 10k to get it all to work. From a cost perspective decided to just use all the ford stuff needed. Maybe the next swap. I daily think of different neat swaps to do but seldom follow thru.

So Boss9F100, Will the truck be registered as a 1966 or a 2011? In California it would have to be registered by the year of the chassis and emissions tested accordingly. What are the laws in AZ?

It will be titled/registered as a 1966 F250.

I think you are doing an awesome job. That is something that I've always wanted; an older car/truck with all the up to date bells and whistles underneath. Are you going to leave the body mostly stock looking?
