Not really understanding exactley what your question is or what you need help with.

If your old 302 went bad and you have a new one in....everything should swap over the same.

What do you mean "the motor is not setup for egr"? All engines since the early 70's were setup for egr, and the motor you took out was also. All you have to do is transfer all the stuff from the old engine over to the new engine. If you have forgotten how it all goes together, sorry I can't help you there.

I think your asking how to hook up your EFI without the smog equipment, right? If that's it I don't think you can. The computer will be looking for the input from the various sensors and such and it wont know what to do without there input. As for JUST the EGR, I'm not sure. The valve itself isn't monitored by the computer I don't believe, but it might through off the O2 sensors.

Why would you want to delete the EGR?

OK, now I understand, the heads on the "new" motor doesn't have EGR ports. If your setting it up as an EFI motor, I don't really know if you can eliminate the EGR and still have the motor run properly.
