One of the things holding me back from going higher at the moment is gearing. I run 3:55 gears, and they're great right now but if I go up, likely I will have to change them. You might want to give thought to that also.

So a question to the masses here....

4" Rancho lift kit

or

6" Fabtech?

I would love to get rear add a leaf to help with the ride quality but Rancho doesn't offer that. And I'm not sure about the fabtech but I'll do more research with them. I'll probably get the bilstein shocks so I'm not worried about that part. I've heard great things about both lifts.

The goal is to get 35" tires under the truck comfortably. Which I can do with either one. Other than height I don't know what the extra 2" could bring to the table. Or how much work it would require to get the extra 2" like drive shaft issues and angle problems.

Open for opinions, gripes, groans or other such.

I know you mentioned going Bilstein, but the DirtLogics are a good setup. I believe that the spring perch is adjustable as well so that you'd be able to dial in the front ride height to accomodate all that weight you just bolted on the front end.

Their basic kit can be had with Bilsteins:

Thanks for the links Chandler. I was checking them out last night and was really interested in them. I'd love to get an add a leaf with them but it doesn't look like they do that at least not on their website. I will probably give them a call and see what they have.

The bumper lowered the front about an inch. That's a concern I have and the reason I wanted to wait to see what the bumper was going to do before I bought a lift.

Just ordered a custom tuner from 5 star. They are having a memorial day sale. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-day-sale.html I'm super stoked since I've been wanting one for a while now.

My SCT tuner arrived today! I'll be getting that hooked up tomorrow and taking it out for a spin.

Next up is wheels/tires/lift.

Fabtech 6" with the dirt logic performance shocks.

I'll put 35s on her, the terra grapplers I think. Now I just need to find the wheels I want. I'm gonna go with a black wheel and fabtech says it requires a 5" backspacing.

Probably gonna order the lift in the next week or so and the wheels/tires as soon as I find something I like that fits the requirements.

Nice...looking forward to how it comes out for you, Bobbie. I keep getting that itch to go higher on mine too, but it'll wait till I put these shows behind me.

I decided to go for 6 so I don't have to try and re-do it later.

Understandable. I just did essentially a "leveling kit" - 2 1/2" - so I could run 33's, but now...ugh. Smart choice on your part.
