Yeah. I'm not going to keep these fender flares long term so I'm not worried about them but I didn't want to spray paint them or try any other paint. I think it's going to look good until I replace them.
It should come out fine for what you need. As you probably saw I just did my Bushwackers and all the steps to getting them painted were pretty tedious. Install was nothing by comparison...lol.
I love the bumper. I would get one myself, but I feel that it would increase my road rage. It looks beefy enough to "bump" someone after they cut you off.
The bumper is awesome Bobbie! You going to do lights to?
Probably not yet. I think my next mod is going to be a lift and tires. Then I think headers and upgraded exhaust. Somewhere in there I'm gonna get the tan painted black and get a tuner to help the performance a little.

Good call BoBbIe. You know what brands and heights you are going to go with?
The more I hear you say "I'm going to paint the tan black..." Bobbie, the more I want to do it to mine too. On a black truck, the tan doesn't look so bad (IMO) but I still have leanings to go away from it. But when I do, it will be much more elaborate...lol.
Lift kits have their ups (see what I did there...) and downs. I went with Rough Country for my 2 1/2" lift, and for the most part I liked it but the shocks are a disappointment. My bushings are already shot and the casings are getting a bit rusty - and it's only been since August of last year. So if shocks are included in your kit, no matter the height or brand, look at those carefully - just my 2 cents.

I'm open to the brands, but heights are going to be 4" for the lift and 35" for the tires.
I've been looking at Rancho for the lift but I don't like that the rear is lift blocks. I'd like to keep the rear as leafs to keep the ride quality but I may be out of luck.

I would most likely spend the money on Bilstein shocks no matter what lift I go with. Thanks for the insider experience.
Ok. After talking with the hubby he was mentioning how good it would look with a 6" lift. Which I dont' disagree with. But I want to do it once and do it right if I can. So here is what I have it narrowed down to.
So a question to the masses here....
4" Rancho lift kit
or
6" Fabtech?
I would love to get rear add a leaf to help with the ride quality but Rancho doesn't offer that. And I'm not sure about the fabtech but I'll do more research with them. I'll probably get the bilstein shocks so I'm not worried about that part. I've heard great things about both lifts.
The goal is to get 35" tires under the truck comfortably. Which I can do with either one. Other than height I don't know what the extra 2" could bring to the table. Or how much work it would require to get the extra 2" like drive shaft issues and angle problems.
