No start

I have a 2005 F350 powerstroke with no start. It gradually took longer and longer to start, suspected loss of oilpressure. Had the same problem a couple of months ago, changed the oring in the standpipe left side. Pressure at cranking now is about 20 bar. Wont start with ether, absolutely no ignition at all.
STD is upgraded last summer and FICM fixed by Curcuitboard medics a year ago.

Code is P2285 but thats understandable, no other codes.

Other mods/repairs: EGR delete, bypass filters, changed fuelfilters (both), Omega fueladditive, turbo replaced 2 years ago, custom economy programming. Batteris probably on their last breath but I have charger connected all the time and use cables from my sparecar when trying to start. 118000 miles.

Getting tired of all problems... Grateful for help!

could be many things at a guess. wiring harness although i think that was more a 03-04 issue. how long have you cranked it since changing the stand-pipe o-ring? batteries will need to be done anyways, unless you are willing to take a major hit and sell it not running. weak batteries could re-damage that FICM although that usually manifests injector codes, but.... if this is right after installing that standpipe o ring are all the sensor plugs fully snapped in? good luck.

It ran perfect for about three months. I parked it running and now its dead. I am checking the FICM and leaks tomorrow. Since it only goes to 20 bar on cranking I suspect oilleak.

Standpipe on driver side had a broken oring. Changed both oring and standpipe. Its running now but still hard start, takes a bit of cranking. Pressure goes down immediately when turned off. Another leak? Were is the check valve on new style 6,0?
Pressure on cold running idle is about 80 bar, goes up to slightly over 100 when reving.

if the o-ring for the cap on the lower filter gets pinched during installation, it can suck air which can produce these symptoms. take the cap off and check, it has to fully bottom out. once it stops don't try to force it, it will break

So you did STC Fitting and 1 Stand pipe

So being an 05 you still have Dummey Plugs in each oil rail and 1 more standpipe left to Upgrade

Looks like an ICP sensor Problem

Unplug ICP sensor in passenger valve cover and try to start it

Odds are you have a Bad ICP sensor also check the ICP wire pigtail see if its oil soaked

No, its not the ICP, I dont have it in. Thats were I mesure the pressure. I suspect the check valves if there are any. The 6,0 bible only pictures the old style.

Thanks Man

To OP since its an 05 you need to do other standpipe and Both Dummey Plugs as 05+ is very common for these to go bad

might be a good idea to pull Ipr for a check and maybe even do an air test

do you have OEM Oil Cap & Filter

Problem seem to be solved. Changed standpipe and dummyplug on passenger side too, no visible damage there. Drove it for a while and it runs great. Hydraulic pressure is at idle 1150 psi and at full throttle 4000 psi. I guess its as it should be.
It will be most interesting to see how long before something brakes again
Thanks for help!
