Where do you guys put the sensor for the transmission temp?
Is it in the pan or in the transmission somewhere?
Also, do you guys have an electric gauge or the mechanical gauge?
I have an excursion with the tranny temp guage. Is that 1/8 plug still available or is that where ford put the sensor for the factory guage? I was told that the fact temp sensors are really just switches. Although mine seems to come up gradually which would inticate an actual guage. Any info would be great. Thank you.
