Help installing a transmission temp gauge
I bought a B&M transmission temp gauge today and want to put it in my truck, a 97 F250HD with the E40D trans.
I want to take the temp reading from the pan. Is there a port the sensor will just plug into?
Also the gauge is lighted. Where do I find the wire to tie into so it will work with my other dash lights?

I found the pic you posted of where the sending unit mounts but I still dont know where the illumination wire for the gauges is and what wire I can tap power from??
