Quick question. I recently rebuilt the rearend of my truck and in the process I removed 3 leaves from each stack. I purchased u-bolts from Mac's and when I received they first sent me 3 matching bolts and 1 mismatching bolt, but the all had the same stock number. when I tried installing them none of the 4 had enough thread on the bolt to tighten down the springs to the axle. Can anyone give me a heads up on where I can order some u-bolts that will fit now that I have removed leaves and made the spring shorter?

I don't know were you are located but here is a place that has all the U bolt you can imagine, you might want to give them a try. Otherwise, most trailer maufactures can supply U bolts. U-bolts Custom & U-bolts Standard
I called a local machine shop and they directed me to a company in my town that worked with big truck and they made me some u-bolts for my F-250 rear. They couldn't make my front ones because they didn't have a small enough die.
Depending on where you live, you might have a place that will make custom u-bolts for you.
As 55 says. Even if you have to buy a die (NOT a re-threader). Or check with a local repair shop to see if they can cut more threads. Or, check with local High or Vocational school. Some have machine shops or auto repair shops.
