This is not my original idea, just think that it would be a good thing here, as it works pretty well in the 80-86 forum, get some stragglers in there from this group looking for parts. Basically, just make a thread at the top that is for wanted junk yard parts, so that members can post up what parts they have, and if another member either has it or sees it at a yard, they can help out another by grabbing it for them.
With that said, at the moment, I want to switch my points type distributor on my 71 F600 to an electronic form. Either Duraspark or HEI is fine by me, just needs to fit a 391. Floods too dang easy, need a little more firepower. I looked at Pertronix, which if I don't come up with anything else, I will do, just didn't want to be spending that much if I don't have to.
I think it's a great idea and again there should be nothing wrong stating what kinds of parts someone needs or has, but not stating things are for sell. That can be between members via email or PMs.
For instance, I'm looking for a C6 Highboy tail shaft.

Yes, the idea is for members to request the parts, and then respond, not to list everything you have for sale in hopes someone wants it. I could go on for hours if I wanted to list everything I could have for sale...
Format is to be: a user requests a part, then someone who can help responds, no intention of listing parts for sale here. Then the deal goes to pm's or emails.
