Air conditioning possible?
I have a 1978 F-100 with just heat only. I have a 1988 serpentine belt setup on my truck with a fs-10 compresser available to use. How can I put Ac on it? I have access to a 1978 Bronco that has the ac box, vents and all if that would be of help to me?

Grab everything you can from the Bronco. Once you have the A/C box under the hood out, make yourself a template and cut the hole in your firewall for the box. I recommend getting a new condenser and dryer receiver, but other than that, just figure out how to mount the compressor and hook up the lines. Not sure on the size of fittings for the A/C compressor to accept the Ford lines or if they will hook right up.

ive been thinkin about finding a small evap-core that will either sit beside the existing heater core or even at the floor vent so i dont have to go thru all that cab and dash work. theres plenty of room inside the fresh air type heater box for a decent size evaporator, it probably wouldnt work all that well but would at least help out on a hot day. ive drilled all of the rivets out of my box to clean it out(was a solid rat nest when i got the truck) so while i was inside there i noticed how much emptiness is really in there
