What do you mean by remove? The AC system essentially has the compressor that is mounted to the motor, the evaporator inside the cab (or inside the heater box on our trucks), the condenser up in front of the radiator, the lines inbetween inculding the drier (that little silver tank), and then the controls in the cab. The compressor, condensor, and underhood lines are very easy to remove, obviously you just take em off and yank them out. The evaporator you have to diassemble the heater box on the passenger side firewall, under the hood. Its held together with a bunch of small screws. Really no point in removing it, though. If you take the entire heater box off, you'll find its mostly hollow plastic. the heatercore is still up under the dash, but removing the box would leave you a giant hole in the firewall you would either have to patch with a piece cut from a non AC truck, or sheetmetal, or something. A lot of these trucks had dealer AC, too, which is a different setup, and i'm not familiar with it.
