Found another truck!
Went and looked at a '97 PSD 5spd. 4x4 ext. cab short bed today. It has 163k miles, minor rust and a few dents and dings, but all in all, a pretty solid truck. It runs great! All stock, no mods at all. They were asking $5500, but I got them down to $4800. I think it's a pretty good deal. I was gonna take pics to show you guys, but I ran out the door this morning and forgot my camera.
So here's what I'm thinkin, buy this truck, take all the 4.10 running gear out of my F350 crw cab project (which is a long way from being done) and put it under this truck. It's not a crw cab, but with a new paint job and the 350 running gear, this would be a sweet truck and I could have it done pretty quick.
What do you guys think?? Your opinions are valued and appreciated!

It's not the crw cab my heart has always desired, but it could be a real nice truck.
I forgot to mention it has all four Alcoas missing one rear center cap, and six way power seat.

That's what I been thinkin all evening. My only problem now is gettin the money together before they sell it. I might call em tomorrow and see if they'll take $1000 deposit and hold it for a couple weeks. I'd really like to get this one.

It wasn't till the 99's that Ford built a short bed F350. The OBS crew cab short beds and super cab short beds were both F250's. I'd like to have a regular cab short bed but they didn't build them either.

I don't know about that. I think that black/red truck you have is sharp looking.That's only the 2nd one I've seen with that color combo and I really like it. And that's the only one I've ever seen with a red interior that looks decent. Now all you need is some black leather seats and it would be perfect.
