It's a shame those rear caps won't stay on. If you get another one I would put a little silicone on it where it goes over the lug nuts. That should hold it on, but still be able to get it off.
Yes, I am interested in that filter! And I like the silicone idea...I will definitely do something.

Don't give up yet! A buddy of mine that has a F250 gasser is missing both of his, and the other day he showed me one he picked up off the side of the road. It's got a few scratches on it, but not bad. I have given him all kinds of parts so maybe I can con him out of that one and send it your way if you're interested. I'm gonna give Tyler the one off this truck I'm getting. I'll probably put the Alcoas up for a while and put the wheels off the black/red truck on it for now. I'll call my buddy later and I'll let you know what he says!

She went with me yesterday to go look at it, and before we got home, I stopped and looked at another crw cad. LOL!! I can't help it, I want em all !!!!!
Hey Bill, since you promised your wife only one more, does that mean the crwcab is up for grabs? How about a little info on it?

Well, my plan for now is to take the front and rear ends out of my 350 crw cab and put under this one I'm getting. I'll probably hang on to my crw cab for a future project. I've wanted one too bad too long to get rid of it.

No I mean the one you looked at on the way home from the one you are buying?

Called my buddy, he said I could have that center cap if I want it. Like I said, it's got some scuffs and scratches on it , I guess where it flew off somebody's truck, but it's a center cap. I'm picking it up tomorrow evening, if you want it, PM me your address and I'll get it out to you!

Oh!...Yeah, it's a real clean truck. It's a '97 XL 5spd., but, it's 2wd. It's got 280k on it but the guy selling it bought it new and says it's always been serviced regularly and it runs great. It's got a tiny bit of rust over the rear wheels, but not bad. He's asking $6500 for it.

Too much for a parts truck, plus wouldnt want to part out a good truck. If you see any cc's for parts, keep me in mind. Need to start getting some parts in inventory. Need a driver rear door as is, looking it over today and it is pretty rusty on bottom inside. Would like a better one before I paint.

When are you planning on painting? Those rear doors are hard to find! I'll look around for one, but if neither of us find you one by the time you're ready to paint, we'll work out something on one of mine.

Not sure, depends on when I get it done. Going to work on it a little at a time, as I have time. Dont want to take one of yours, mine can be fixed with a little patients. If I find one ok, if not ok. Cant wait to see the pics of the new ride. You are a braver man than me.

Brave or stupid, I'm not sure which! LOL! I should have pics tomorrow night.

I have two sets of doors, so if you get in a bind, I could part with one. We'll see..... I may have a lead on some. I'll try to check it out tomorrow.

Diesel Brad has your crew cab rear doors.

You would have to have them shipped from PA, but he has some none the less.
