Well at least you bought a decent bike..just a slow Honda....do your homework before you bought that?

?..

I'm kidding.

I have a VTX 1800c. Dynoed at 109 Hp. I put 67,000 miles on it.

But then again it's a cruiser.

Post pics when you get the truck....I have no regrets when I ordered my truck.

You did good... My whole point is relax....it's a great truck....but I did order mine with Everything....just to make sure.

As for my bike, the 86 shadow VT1100, kinda has some familiy history. My dad had an 86 VT500 that i got when he passed, had a ton of miles and wasnt in great shape- but i loved it. Right up to the point where some jerk turned in front of me and wrecked the bike. Sure it wasnt the best bike ever but had major sentimental value to me. I searched for another one for months and somehow found a VT1100 in mint condition with 3500 original miles. Still had the original factory tires on it! Belonged to some collector. Was even the color i wanted (black). I love the bike and cant imagine life without it. And for a cruiser, the thing is fast.

Im stoked on the truck. Thanks for your support.

I thought about that. But for me 1200 running boards aint worth it. At first that why i went chrome pkg. But the 5inch round ones are nice too. Actually like em more after close inspection of quality and ruggedness.

It's a $720.00 msrp differents witch means its really like $500.00 differents with the chrome package, 6" running boards and chrome clad wheels, if you get allycart they are $1,250.00 for the 20" polished wheels and $495.00 for the 5" running boards.
I do like the polished wheels better but I no they been using the clad system for many years now, I started this trend/question to see if there was an underlaying problem with the polished wheels for them to change, if not and I really wanted the polished wheels I would buy them off eBay and keep the others for snow plowing. I also noticed that the king ranch has the same chrome clad wheels on them now. dealer has 6 on there lot.

Mine came with the chrome clad on delivery but I just asked my dealer to switch out the clad with the premium with the one sittin right next to it and I would cover the difference. No problem.

So, I take it that you should not use any Mother's Chrome / Aluminum Polish on the rims. Otherwise you will scratch the plastic.

Would it be safe to say that spraying with Pledge and car wax is the only safe route.
