[QUOTE=jdadamsjr;11551169]FYI, NONE of the 2 wheel drive excursion had a stock rear sway bar that I know of...
I do know that I had to add it to all 3 of my ex's
and imho the ras was a better performer than the sway bar...
Ask Toreador in a few days when he gets his installed [/QUOTE
I will do that, there maybe a reason for them not installed on a 2wd. I guess everybody else had one so I am supposed to have one too right?? I guess you can't compare apples (4wd) to oranges (2wd) in terms of sway. When I get around to buying an RAS I will try them both, then I will try just the RAS. If I end up taking it off and leaving it Cowboy it's yours.

Thanks Joe, I hope you like the RAS better and we can make a deal. I might just end up getting one new though... I have a feeling I am going to need it with the amount of lift I have.
I had the RAS installed in the rear a little while back but did not tighten it correctly. I finally did yesterday. Originally I was less than impressed. A noticeable improvement but not that much better.
It was a HUGE improvement once properly tightened! Very noticeable improvement in body roll as well as how it handles large bumps.
The front has an extra leaf installed. The rear is stock with the RAS. Stock shocks.
I now give it two thumbs up. Once properly adjusted it is worth every penny.
