Something quick and easy I've done is drive it up the steepest incline you can find and let it sit there and run for a few minutes. This will sometimes free up an airlock. I have a steep bank in front of my house that I use.
Is it possible for the PSD's to get airlocked in the cooling system. I've done this with other vehicles, but not a PSD.
Ok I think I got it... Took it for a drive today and it didn't get above where it normally sat before on the temp gauge... I drove it with the heat on full blast and I think that did the trick. I will continue to monitor it though.

Thanks for your help guys.
I was low on coolant in mine and the T-stat didn't open up nor did the radiator cap.
Boy it let out smoke for a long time.
Well, steam, but whatever.
On another note, my dash temp gauge actually works now.
Must have been corroded or something.
