oil pan question ?

i was under my truck and noticed that it looks like the frt axel housing has hit my pan but with all the rusted paint i cant be sure if there is a notch in it or if my axel (bent it) can someone look at there pan for me ? mine is a early 99 with 4x4 there is a hole in the main cross member is the pan notched for the axel or is it flat across the bottom? thanks wes

It is pretty common for the oil pans to rust and loose paint. I doubt the axle hit it (unless you have been watching the Dukes of Hazard and acting it out).
