front valance dimples

front valance dimples
anyone know what the 2 dimples in the front valance just above the bumper bracket holes are for?
should they be filled before painting?

not the park lite areas these are tiny dimples like center punch size just above and inboard from the bumper brace cut outs

Probably for the same thing these holes in my valance are for.... a factory brushguard, or so I was told

Mine has them also. Lots of guys fill them. I believe they are locator marks for a factory grille guard accessory.
