Styleside bumper installed with brackets- pics
So I finally ordered up my bumper and brackets from BOTP since they are the only maker that I found for brackets. Bunch of great guys down there and very helpful.
First off the quality and thickness of the bumper and bracket were pretty good. You can see the thicknesses of both.
Bracket:

The bracket has to be wedged in the bumper for the holes to line up. A medium size bry bar was used to spread the bumper a bit to fit the bracket. Do this with the bumper on the ground. Once the carriage bolts are tapped in and tightened, the bracket will seat where it needs to be. Just dont tighten the bolts fully until mounted on truck.

The bolt holes line up perfectly with the frame. Keep in mind that these brackets are center mount. Meaning there is no outside support. The bumper is quite thick, and there is no flex. To be honest, if someone is going to hit you, any stock type bumper is going to tweak.

Once the the bumper was installed, had the wife check that everything stayed straight as all the fasteners were snugged up tight
End result was quite nice...
