unplug coils from harness - how?
This question is for a 2000 6.8l. Is there a special tool used to disengage the coil on plug from the wiring harness? Just can't seem to figure out how to unlock it and don't want to break it.

On the underside of the plug that goes onto the coil there is a small lock lever that you have to depress to unlock it. Practice on 1&2 first before you try 5.

Got it! Thanks.

I also figured out the clip on the harness for the fuel injector. I barely touched it before it snapped. The harness is on there now but not secured, not locked. How do you deal with one of these breaking? Tape?

You may be able to cable-tie in place, but plan on replacing it as in the end it could cause you some issues.

What kind of issues does the broken harness clip to the fuel injector cause?

Wiggles or vibrates loose over time. I was going to find more information pertinent to your vehicle, but your "about me" is showing an F150 only.

NAPA also sells the COP connectors with one each black and white pig tail leads, p/n EC259 @ about $20 each.
