Hey guys,
I disconected a few of my injectors , passenger side, when changing my spark plugs this weekend. Then I discovered how brittle they had become as 2 of them had the retaining clips come off. I managed to slide them back in place onto the injector & for now I have wedged a little screw between the clip & the injector plug housing to keep pressure on it. Its holding but its temporary.
How hard is it to replace the plastic plug with a new one, are there any aftermarket fix's out here?

This was not what I expected to go wrong when I tackled the dreaded spark plug change...

Problem solved, My friendly neighborhood ford technician instructor brought me home a wiring harness, Showed me how to get the wires out of the clip & presto, new fuel injector connectors. if you ever have to do, practice on the new set on the bench, before trying it under the hood.

 

I broke one but only the lock part. Safety Wire tied for as couple months now. no problems.
