it's going in a '81 rabbit pickup. I'm shooting for 80 mpgs (~60% increase over factory).
That'd be like troy's truck peaking around 30mpgs...
Good luck!

Agreed!

You'd be a fool to not want better mileage out of what you drive especially with fuel prices the way they are now.
That sucks Jay! I am getting ready to head up to school at 1:30 to be with Jase. There is something going on where the dads are invited so that should be fun.

Not just for milage. But for increased milage over my current puller. Although it may not be worth it (as I don't/won't drive it enough)... but then again, I can't fit 4 in there
Afternoon everyone!! Dang is it nice out. Walked to lunch with a vendor. Very hard to come back inside. Good thing I've got a meeting in another building in about 15 minutes.
It's so nice outside, but it's really hot and stuffy inside. They shut the air handlers off this week for some maintenance work.
I was concerned with mileage on my truck while it was my DD. Unfortunately, I spent ALOT of time and money to improve the mileage and got a big fat 0 increase out of it. I've found over the years with most cars that the factory settings are about as good as you're going to get for mileage. The add-ons and things are for power, not economy. NOTHING I ever did except drive long trips on flat ground did anything to the mileage (on ANY vehicle I've owned). It just isn't going to happen.
Afternoon folks, just got my 5th wheel tailgate and am gonna install it shortly. Just in time. Gonna tow the camper tomorrow since I slept through my alarm today......
