I do love it, it towed great but if I wasn't paying attention I do think I would have missed the downshift. It was nothing like the 7.3 at all.....Like you said with the 7.3 you can hear it....

Yep, I had mine (old one) rebuilt and told him to install a shift kit to help with the sluggish shift from third to fourth............nothing they could do. It helped hold it in third a little longer but still was a little sluggish.
Well I think after towing my 5th wheel with my dually the first time that it is time to sell it. I don't like it at all. If anyone is interested let me know.....Glad I kept my other truck.

Weird, mine shifts just fine in all gears, maybe a bit harsh in stock tune but the full tugger kit with pump mods and the .500 shift modulator valve will do that. It is a lot better since having my chip reflashed too. Still should have gone with a BTS........
