Thoughts on buying a used one? I'm thinking it is likely it wasn't given it's proper rest...
Usually if the duty cycle exceeded the thermal breaker will trip and just need to wait for it to cool down. That link said it is sold out.
I had a century 220v that I sold and bought a used Lincoln 135plus, 110 unit. I got that because I don't weld a lot of thick stuff plus the 110 is more portable because it is easier to find 110v outlets. But if you plan to weld with gas you may have to buy the regulator, I didn't notice if that one came with it

Another nice feature is to be able to adjust the voltage along with wire speed. Not sure if that one had voltage adjustment. The century I had was infinite voltage adjustment but the Lincoln is like 5 settings. Which still works well. The cart and regulator are definite bonus.
