Well I got the hang of cutting off the rivets and got one side done... the other side should go a whole lot faster now. I flap-disced off some of the surface corrosion that was between the stock radius arm brackets and the frame and gave the frame a coat of rattlecan black, and while I was waiting for that to dry and with the paint can still in my hand I did the rear driveshaft as well since I have the 2-piece steel driveshaft.
What's left is:
- Rearrange brake line
- Tighten/Torque sway bar drop bracket
- Reinstall wheels
- Attach track bar
- Put in bigger carrier bearing drop plates
- Adjust drag link as required to roughly re-center steering (will take it to get it aligned by machine anyway)
Waiting on longer rear sway bar linkages and longer shock boots, maybe they'll show up Friday? Also put on those kick back mudflaps to be compliant with motor vehicle standards. Not because I want to, but because I should.
