Me just mentioning to my wife that I might be interested in a new vehicle is the same as buying one. She will have one picked out for me within a couple of hours. That's what happened with the 2011 F350. How did I get so lucky?
Whenever I tell my wife that I am going to "just look" at something she just asks if we need to bring the checkbook or stop by the bank on the way. She has figured out over the years what "just looking" means.
Went on a nice little road trip yesterday, about 800 kM total. Loved every minute of the drive! West to Seba Beach to get a few thing done then took the back roads to Calgary, got beat up on by Fluor for 4 hours then back in the truck and back to Edmonton. GREAT DAY, GREAT TRUCK. Even had a little chat with our Sailor friend Roy.
If it has not happened to you yet, they are on sale so go get one
Well it has not happened yet.....but it's gotta happen eventually right?? Still froze solid up here, taking her sweet time this year. Roy, you got an ice breaker I can borrow for a couple of days??
Well it happened. Stupid birds started another nest under the hood of the truck.
I spent about thirty minutes with a Shop-Vac getting that crap off of and out from around the engine. I hate birds! I've been trying to drive it every day to try to discourage them from doing this.
Anyone got any suggestions about how to keep these idiots from trying to build another nest in there? It won't fit in the garage and since I've got a take home car, I don't get to drive it every day now even though I try to.
On a lighter note, I did drive it around for about an hour last night and it was pure pleasure.

My neighbor puts an oil drain pan full of vinegar under his truck and the critters seem to leave it alone.
