As bad as I hate to say it, my truck has been a gallon or more low on oil several times when I was having issues with blowing out HPO o-rings and when my oil cooler let go. I know one of those times I put a little over 2 gallons in it and it didn't die and wasn't hard to start... I'm actually still wondering if it didn't sputter and die b/c of a cracked pick up tube. It was pulling air through the crack when it got low and once you filled it up(oil level above crack), it couldn't pull air anymore and fired off.

The way you were saying it was running really sounds like it had a lot of air in the HPOS. Not sure about the transmission codes, but those shouldn't effect how the engine runs.

Alright an update all wires are in good shape. No codes. And pickup tube isn't cracked after talking to Travis lastnight I figured I'd drain some oil ( about a gallon and a half)and try to start it and it fired rite off.

It's a itch to try and fix something thats working rite

If it was oil related then I wouldn't have been getting smoke out the stacks rite

Still running fine and no codes.

Anybody have a clue why I got those codes?

I ignore codes unless i can reproduce them, or tey relate directly to my problem.
