ok, well I built a leak detector, and no leaks anywhere. So I decided to unplug the waste gate and see if it raised boost numbers at all and no 10lbs max. So I decided to load my friends 78 c10 on a trailer and see what boost numbers i could come up with. and STILL 10 LBS. wtf!!!!! same boost numbers as unloaded. But I forgot to mention that my EBPV valve has been unhooked, so I just pulled it off and am deleting it today/tom. I think this is the only other possible thing it could be..... The thing is unhooked due to the fact the sensor was broken during turbo removal for upipe gasket replacement. And i think its closing from the exhaust gas.
YES!!!!! I just deleted the ebpv in the exhaust side of the turbo. I am now pushing 22lbs in the 70 tune. I have never actualy felt this trucks full potential until now hahahah. When I bought it, it had both up pipes leaking really bad and the part were the up pipes come to the turbo had an 1/8 inch gap. well when I fixed that, I broke the sensor for the exbp and thought the exhaust pressure would hold the flap open. well I was wrong big time and I'm That much more in love with this truck. Thanks everyone for your help!@@@@@
I could do 20 in stock... with my tunes, I throw an SES. But that's with my wastegate rigged differently. What I did was remove that "contraption" that's bolted to the front of the spider and then I set the wastegate to start opening at 20psi. It worked great in stock, but now I throw an SES regardless with my tunes. I need a boost fooler... that and I'd love to have a non-wastegated housing.

I don't know if u want a non wastegate housing w a stock Turbo. U need yo be able to keep boost under 25the for the Turbo to survive.
22 pounds still sounds low...? Anybody know if his chip disables the over boost protection?
22 sounds safe to me you could get more by adjusting the waste gate but any benefit wud be nominal. I had mine up to 30 by adjusting the wastegateon stock Turbo....had to back it off
