white or black face
Whit or black faced ones? I cannot decide. I think either would look good during the day, but it's the night view that I am not sure of. Another question they sell EGT gauges that go up to 1500 and 2400. Would I need to monitor temps anywhere that high (2400). I do not tow or have a tuner on my truck right now may be in the future. What do you guys think? On both questions, white or black face and 1500 or 2400 EGT gauges?

That's a tough call. I have black faced and have no problem reading them night or day, so I think it's what ever looks good in YOUR truck. As far as the EGT gauge, I've seen 1600 but not 1500 and if you're not running a tuner then you have no use for anything over 1500 anyway, even towing.
