leakin

Hey. I got a 08 f250 6.4 diesel there is antifreeze leakin out pretty bad some where ontop of where the bottom rad hose meets the motor. I was just wonderin if u guys had any ideas ? Thanks

This may be under warentee still, head to the dealer and ask quick! Like a bunny!

Hi Blacksmoker80, welcome to FTE!

Sorry to hear that you have a problem though; radiator hose problems aren't that uncommon to hear about. How many miles are on your truck? There's a small chance you could be under warranty, otherwise it'll be a couple hundred dollars to fix at your local dealer.

Sounds like the radiator hose o-rings failed.

They have updated the hoses to be a double o-ring now.

If you are still under your 36/36 then it would be covered but I kind of think not.

those hoses are pricey.

Need to take note of exactly where they are leaking, have them show you. Makes all the difference on if it is warranted or not. Either end you have a good chance, if it is the middle you are SOL and will run a good $500 and up for the new hoses installed.
