Diesel Newby needs help

Well,
I have a 2010 F250 XLT and this is my first diesel. So, I got my cherry busted when I took my truck to the dealership because I noticed fluid leaking down from the front axle/transfer case. It took them until the morning of the 3rd day to finally realize I have a leaking radiator hose. After the great news the dealership informed me it was recommended to change both radiator hoses because Ford had redesigned the hoses from a one O-ring to a two O-ring hose. And, it would only cost me $456. Of course the rep said it was not covered because I was at 39,500 miles. I immediately told the service rep to take it off the lift and close me out.
I looked on this site (it's very helpful) and found out several things. (1) there's a TSB 11-6-6 on this exact issue (2) there have been others on this site will the same issue.
Questions: Are the hoses I can buy online (Motorcraft) any different than the ones they would install? What's this issue about getting air in the coolant? Has anyone gotten the dealership to cover this repair under warrantly because of the TB?
Any help for this cherry boy would be appreciated.

TSB's do not change warranty coverage.

buy the hose that is leaking and repair that one.

Air in the coolant leads to cavitation behind the water pump.

which hose is leaking?

The lower hose. Are the part store hoses any different than the dealer, except price? And, how do you prevent the air? Sorry so ignorant on the subject,

IT is important to know WHERE the leak is, as I found out the hard way, if it is in the middle of the hose they will not cover it, if it is on the ends where those O rings are you may have a chance. That price is pretty good, cost me $600 to get both of them done.

Rejected

Unfortunately they have already rejected me. Ford told me to keep my receipts in case they have a recall. Then, they may reimburse me. Kinda puts a bad Ford taste in my mouth.
