Well I'm converting my 96 obd2 f150 with the 4.9 to a 94 sd 351 w just got it all put back together with the correct eec-v computer and correct corresponding maf meter now the injectors are not receiving signal. But the engine will fire right up with a small shot of fuel to the throttle body and the dies shortly after So my question is... Are the engine wiring harness different what sensors would I be missing on the sd Windsor ? And why are the injectors not firing any help is appreciated !
Lots of rewiring to go from ODBII to ODB1. Old Fuel Injection (formerly Ford Fuel Injection) has pinouts and some other information that should be of use but you're going to have to back track your wiring to make sure everything is hooked up.
Are you sure they're not firing and it's not another fuel issue like the pumps not running? Do you have pressure at the rail?
The Windsor was in a sd truck I'm putting it in a maf truck I'm aware that sd does not use maf yes the thing that gets me is both engines ran when project was started iv checked rail pressure it was fonaminal but I'm using the sd engine harness that is what I'm thinking my problem is maybe a diff pin lay out in the plug or something to that nature what you thinkin
you said a Super Duty, but you also said '94, so I am assuming it was an F450 thing.
you will prolly have to swap the entire engine harness, PCM and pretty much everything else under the hood. be the only way to eliminate any possible pin out problems.
Completely misunderstood ....... I am taking a sd"speed density" 351 w out of a 94 f150 and I'm putting it in a 96 obd2 maf truck. Overall goal here is to have a maf 351 w but I think the older sd "speed density" engine has a diff engine harness and also is missing a few sensors that are required for the obd2 setup just looking for alitel input once again sorry for the confusion
