Hey Matt, it kinda looks like it would. Mine has that fitting with a grease tube threaded to it. When you thread it in all you need to do is put a lil twist in the hose. The o ring should do the rest. Make sure after you pull the gp's you spin it a lil before you install the adapter. Need anything give me a shout!
Good luck with the builds, the fitting appears that it will work, do you have a hydraulic shop nearby? It's a relatively common adapter 1/8" pipe X 10X1MM. I too use the 18" grease whip with the adapter since it allows that slight bend to get around the rockers.
i know i should take all the GP out, but do i let the injectors run? or do i need to pull the IDM relay?
To pull the drive side valve cover you will be unhooking the wiring harness anyways. So unless you go out of your way to reconnect it, injectors won't fire.
I think you want a gauge that reads in about the middle. It's what I was told once before and just made since. My hpop gauge goes to 3000 psi, my comp gauge goes to 1000psi, my fuel goes to 100 psi, and my oil goes to 100 psi, boost goes to 40 psi. I did have a 60 psi gauge on my oil pressure but when cold it would get maxed out.y point is most of the pressures I run are somewhere in the middle of these gauges. Except for boost!
update the hose works, fits great.
now to get it put back in to get some numbers.
so you will know what it was when the link dose not work
