Hey Steve,
Just a beautiful traditional truck - very nice! Let me ask - I see the exhaust heading off the engine straight down - what is the black tubing just above that? I'm not as familiar with the older engines.
Not sure how you survive in Florida without A/C - we did 6 years in Ft. Lauderdale. I envy the room you have in your engine compartment!
Hi Ben. Thanks for the kind words. That black tube is a crankcase ventalation tube...my 223 does not have a PCV. With regards to the Florida heat, as long as the red lights are minimal, it isn't too rough but those long stop lights can be rough! Steve
Here is my 347. Also shown is the 460 that was in the 56 when I got it a couple years back. I am righ now engaged in converting to fuel injection via a 5.0 Edelbrock manifold, standalone programmable Vi-PEC V88 ECU and coil near plug. Once that gets sorted I will start planning the addition of dual turbochargers with water-to-air intercoolers. Fun stuff.

Looking good DR G.
Seeing your post reminded me of when I used to live in the 818 area; about 12 years since then.
