I am replacing this as soon as I head out the door after typing this. My normal temp is around 194 degrees based upon my H&S gauge and I haven't noticed any coolant loss but I also have only 46k miles on my truck
I hope once I put this on I do not have new issues pop up b/c the next weak link gives.
I plan on buying one on the way home today. I will then check to see if I have one of the newer caps already installed. If I do then I will hold on to the one just purchased, just in case.
Interesting video. great information. Any further research out there on this issue?

Getting this when i pick up my truck today from the body shop.. advance auto parts is on the way... i'll be replacing it today.. i wonder if this is whats causing my puking problem when i get close to 40+ lbs of boost
Checked mine last night , had the old cap, stopped and picked up the new cap yesterday and took it out for a test drive! New cap holds pressure no problem... The last cap wouldn't hold the pressure just like explained on the video ! I was able to boost all the way up to 45psi according to my livewire without issue ... I thought for sure my head gaskets were gone a few weeks ago ! But this simple $5 part saved me a TON of $$$$! I reccomend this cap to everyone !
