Wiring steering wheel colum for turn signals, cruise, and colum lock mechanism

Successful follow-up:
Keying on 'F150xlt's strong hint in his last post:
"I've come to the conclusion that something is wrong with the wiring at your flasher socket",
In addition to the aforementioned continuity, I took the various wires and tested for voltage at each of the flasher socket and 'Fuse #5' (gray/yellow, purple/orange).
What first turned out to be "normal", the flasher socket (gray/yellow) tested FINE for 12V. BUT it wasn't until I had disconnected the fuse block from under the dash and remembered that it didn't have power when bolted in.
So....I wiggled the fuse box around a bit, and sure enough, the test light went on-and-off, signifying of course a loose wire. So 'F150xlt' hunch was right on the money.
NOW. . . I'm up against replacing the sockets (hopefully) in the fuse block, but not sure where those connecters can be found. Worse case (probably expensive) would be to replace the whole fuse block, but that is too time consuming as well. So possibly bypassing the wiring with a direct wire and a 'fuse link' holder; but I don't like that option as it's not 'clean'.
Anyone know where to get those "connectors" found in the fuse block???

dont mean to but This is related to what Im trying to figure out right now, I just replaced the steering column in my 87 f150 300-six (non cruise) with another column form the junk yard from a 88 or 89 truck with tilt wheel and cruise. the wiring plugs are the same but the wires are switched, When i press the horn, it blows the fuse for the cig lighter and other buttons on the wheel and the "on" button is what actually will work the horn (as long as the fuse isnt blown)
Which wires are for the horn on my 87 truck and the column from a 88 or 89?

You're right 'FordOwnerJoey' -- let's not detour here. You might want a separate thread for that. This already has 20+ posts and your question will take everyone down a mink hole (a rat hole that feels good).
I'm fixin' to close this one out soon as I'm getting real close to the end.

Here is a diagram of both systems side by side:

I am not sure how the horn switch is connected with non CC?
It looks like you get a dead short when you press the horn because there is no relay.
Do you have a picture?
Here is another diagram of the CC/horn system:

Edit: looks like you may be able to get it to work by removing the black ground wire from the screw hole and connect it to the Light Blue / black stripe wire.
