EBP sensor

Hi again
Where is the EBP sensor on an 05?
Also what is the sensor on the passenger side valve cover towards the front?

Should be behind the air filter minder...on a steel tube that almost looks like a dipstick tube.

EBP depends on year...on my 2004 it is just right of the thermostat

Arrow #3 in the bottom half photo...but this is an '03-'04 engine.

Right, but he said he's got an '05...thus they moved it.

Thanks guys.
Someone told me the ipc was behind the turbo, on the 05.

If thats the ipc valve towards the front end of the passenger side valve cover mine doesnt have a screen on it.

One last question; what does ebp stand for and what does the sensor do?

EBP is exhaust back pressure, the PCM uses info from it to decide how to control the EGR valve and the VGT actuator on the turbo

The ICP sensor was moved to the valve cover on the 04 and up ENGINES but not all 04 trucks, specifically those made before 9/29/03.
