EBV tube and sensor

Ok I have been researching this issue and can't seem to get a clear cut answer. I have a deleted Pedestal (no EBPV), the sensor is unplugged with a fooler plugged in. Should I still consider cleaning the tube and sensor anyway? I welcome all opinions.

If your sensor is unplugged then there is no reason to clean it or the tube.

I thought the sensor really has nothing to do with the EBPV being disconnected. My EBPV is deleted and disconnected on the front of the pedestal but I noticed when I cleaned my sensor and tube my mpg's went up. Am I missing something on how the system works?

Nope, you haven't missed anything. You are correct. Having a working EBP sensor usually helps fuel mileage quite a bit.

I think your right on this one. The fooler plug makes it think it still good. And I believe they are sperate also. At least this is how I'd go about it.

So I need to clean it and leave the sensor plugged in on the front of the engine.
