Fuel restriction? Change the fuel filter to start and if that doesn't help hook up pressure gauge on the fuel supply.

Imagining the situation from written description is not easy, but sudden change in engine performance most likely is a sensor acting. Did you read the codes?

This happened to me one time, shortly after having maintenance done... It was the intercooler hose on the bottom, it popped with an audible POP then loss of performance. What sounds different is you say your turbo is still working, the only way i imagine you know this is by the boost guage... my boost guage went to zero althow it was still working... It may be the same thing, just maybe the boost pressure guage may be in a different place from your truck to mine... just a thought, check those cold air hoses, top and bottom. hope its that simple for you, good luck

try to follow the tubes all the way from the air box through the turbo, up to the cac and then back to the intake, the cac (charged air cooler) looks like a radiator up front behind the grill. the hoses that connect the pipes are normaly blue and about 4" in diameter check all of the hoses and the intercooler itself for holes and tight clamps.
good luck
