DTC p0401 question

I just did a oil cooler and a egr delete, I am throwing a p0401 code now. No check engine light but my insight is pulling the code. Is this due to my egr delete??

Does my egr valve still function with my egr delete, it is still plugged in and installed in the truck, I'm just trying to figure out this dtc code. Would this cause a slight studer in the motor when it is cold

Its sensing low egr flow. I left mine unplugged to see if id get the same code before i went on with an egr delete, and i got the same code .Youll probably need a tuner to clear that code. As far as the studder i suppose its possible. Someone will chime in soon and be able to answer with a little more detail. Hows your boost?.And yes, the vAlve still functions, but the ebp sensor, and the intake air temp sensor know theres no egr flow. Cheezit explained it awhile back, maybe he'll chime in and give you a little better explanation.

The studder sounds alot like stiction. Try using rotella t6 5w 40 full syn oil on your next oil change.
