4x4 blinking

1999 expedition What does flashing 4x4 indicator light on dash mean when in AWD doesn't flash when in 4x4 or 4x4 low? and speedometer went nuts
Please HELP

You may have a problem with your speed sensors. Check for codes and check the wiring on the speed sensors for a bad connection or broken/worn wires. But more then likely it's a bad sensor. Cheap and easy to replace.

I agree and since the speedo went 'nuts' it's most likely the sensor at the rear output of the transfer case.
