4x4 blinking
I have a 98 explorer 4x4 and the 4x4 high and low lights blink and the 4x4 does not work.I went to my mechanic and there are no codes but he was backed up and could not spend a lot of time but he gave me some papers with possible causes and one was the transfer case speed sensors. they should read more than 1 mega ohm and the rear reads open so i know it is bad but my ? is can I change it out myself. I have looked in a chiltons but it doesnt show that sensor and I would hate to remove it and not be able to put it back without pulling the transfer case.Does anyone know how hard it is to swap out.
