I know your truck looks good, but probly the dirtiest most beat up part of your beloved dentside might just happen to be in your pocket right now...That's right YOUR KEYS!
Heres something you can do with little effort while your reading your favorite Ford Truck threads and really compliment the old trucks.
i have two pics, the first shows a grubby key in the middle and two keys i polished; the second pic shows the 'after' on that key.
I sat right here while reading some wonderful ford truck posting with a paper towel and some mothers mag/aluminum polish i had sittin around.
First i washed my keys with dawn and my kitchen sink bristle brush, an old toothbrush would do fine to help get that nasty gunk removed that always builds up on my keys.
Then i dipped the key in the polish, rubbed it with the paper towel till it turned black as sin and buffed it back off. Didnt even need to dirty a towel. The thin paper towel helps to allow you to get your fingernail down in the grooves.
The key on the right in the pics doesnt have any chrome anymore and it turned out the best since mostly brass, the left key has most of its chrome and the middle is about in between on wear. now my key ring is lookin like it belongs to something really nice!
unfortunatly sir, you are right, but doesnt worry me any because the locks that guard our trucks are soo simple to pick. A set of mini feeler gauges and roughly 80 seconds will get your truck running. I have proved this.
can you even get a gun rack anymore? I've been needin one, i did have a saddle blanket seat cover with the firearm sleeve in front but it got pretty tore up.

I've seen a couple in the JY - the kind that mounts in front of the back glass. Most I see nowadays are bolted to the backside of the seat since it keeps the rifles outta sight.
cool, but you've just given every thief in oklahoma the keys to your truck...it would be simple to make a real key from your pix!
I'd have a hard time believing someone is really going to map a key based on a picture they found on the internet, somehow locate the truck in person, and steal it.
Car theives do not work that hard. That's why they're car theives - they don't want to work at all.

Well, the OP changed his location from his actual city, so he must have been somewhat concerned.
I could care less, it's not my truck...I was just making a statement.
