cold air intake

Hello all. I have a 98 f250 ld 4x4. I am looking to get a cold air intake system. I was looking at the banks cold air intake, and a few others. Does anyone have any input on this?Should I spend the money on banks or just get a different kind that is cheaper?

All new vehicles come with a cold air intake system. Like Scalemandave said, do the gott's Mod and remove the major restriction in the stock system.

i have a spectre cold air intake in my 2001 king ranch and it sounds awesome, if you wanna save up i would say get a k&n

K&N will do only one thing and that is lighten your wallet. You will get no gain in HP in normal driving, and no gain in MPG. The factory setup is cold air.. the aftermarket systems allow more intake noise to come out and it "sounds neat", leading some to think they are getting more power.
