is there a way you could film it? reason being, i am having sorta the same issue. slight high speed miss. no codes. i've had the valve covers off sooo many times this week, it is no longer amusing.
the last time i ran her without the covers on- unplugged-then replugged my suspected injector and she smoothed out(for a couple days), but it is back.
my symptoms were at first a slight miss with a slow to warm hole. thought it was a glow plug cause she smoothed out as she warmed up. that was a few days ago. she does start right up but like your rig she is lumpy.
im wanting to ohm out my injectors. any ideas to what spec are?
i understand. im to the point where i just want to slap a set of injectors in there and cross my fingers but at $250 each or $950 fer all of em. the wife isn't so anxious
before I'd spend the money on injectors, I'd swap the solenoid over to another injector to see if the code moves. that 1273 code says "high to low open" it should be electrical.
when mine did this it would set the CEL but run OK. I moved the solenoid to another pac and the code moved. bought a new pac for $60 and it was golden again. simple to do. 4 torx screws right on top.
nevermind, still have the problem, it is not the IDM
I understand this is frustrating, but did you ever try swapping the injectors or solenoids off of 3 to another? I know I have at least mentioned it a few times in your various threads, and others have also suggested it...Did your mechanic change #8? Did he change #3? What codes are you getting now, still the p1273? This really sounds like a solenoid issue...
