i was a vw/ audi mech by trade and we use "vag-com" a factory spin off. does ae do all the same things the rotunda do? i mean is it as good as the factory tool? the older my truck gets the more i need this tool.
i also help a buddy from time to time with his powerstroke fleet. do any of ya'll know if it will work on the 6.0? or is it a different software package?
I personally do not have AE, I have way too much tied up in my SnapOn's before coming to FTE and finding out about AE. Still may get it though eventually, the cost to update my snapon's is more than the entire AE package
I do not know of the differences in capabilities, I know AE can program PATS, but I don't know it's capabilities as to programming modules I.E. ABS or Body computers, or VSM's on the CAN network. You would have to ask those that have it and have used it. That would be the only disadvantage I could see versus Ford.
It will work on 6.0's as well as any Ford with the Ford bundle. You can also get import bundles i.e. toyota, vw, etc.
