New True Duals

Finally got the true duals installed. The shop did an excellant job. I brought the X-pipe and a couple of Classic Chambered Exhaust mufflers. More people should look into this style of straight thru muffler. I had it done friday and haven't turned on the radio yet. What an exhaust note.

Without videos or pictures, this thread is pointless.

Classic Chambered makes great sounding mufflers, as true to the sound of the muscle cars that were factory equipped as it gets but without the restriction that came with the 1-7/8" cores of the originals.

I gotta go with Khan on this, we need vids!

I'd like to see some flow tests on those mufflers. I guessing they flow less than a perforated core glasspack or any other "straight thru" muffler.

Any updates? I'm looking at putting a single one on my truck. No exit, straight back underneath

I cut the exit pipes back where it hit the 4 link bracket. The front bracket broke and we rebuilt the rear suspension. The fabricator liked my welders so he said he would install the twin turbo setup and the big brake/front coilovers for a trade.

A video would be great, I'd really like to see if you accomplished the sound I was after. How about drone? I almost hate to start experimenting again, but. Possibly replace my Borla resonator on my Stype with one of these. I'm down your way frequently, what shop did you use?

Love to show a video but can't get a pic to show. I would like to have a bit more noise but I like straight pipes to. Never had a drone problem and at highway speeds or in city u have to get on it to be loud. The guy who I buy mine from did a great job. I usually meet him up in Waterford to buy.

True duals means no X or H pipe, no?

Anyway, audio or it didn't happen!

LOL, I have enough trouble just showing photos!Q
In Waterford eh?
Think I'll do a bit more research on these guys, this is the first I'd heard of them. I had chambered exhausts on a '72 302 Comet GT years ago, sounded great. My Borla sounds great, but would like just a little more sound at idle and low rpm. This is the chamber I'm looking at to replace the resonator, the last one.
SHORT POWERSTICK Short POWERSTICK
IN/OUT PART# CORE BODY DIA. BODY LENGTH OA LENGTH
2" 2018SB 2-1/4" 3" 14" 18"
2-1/4" 22520SB 2-1/4" 3" 16" 20"
2-1/2" 2520SB 2-1/2" 3-1/2" 16" 21"
3" 3020SB 3" 3-1/2" 16" 21"

Looks like about $70, plus shipping, but I could just pick it up down there. Have to get under the truck again and measure the Borla resonator as well.
