Did you ever get yours fixed or are you still chasing it?
Mine seems to have gone away with the weather warming up. Although, I believe I have pin pointed it to the t stat housing. I replaced the original with a new OEM piece, but I don't think it's sealing, possibly warped a bit. There will be a tiny amount on top the waterpump in the morning. I'm going to order the t stat housing retaining ring from strictly diesel (I think thats who sells it) sometime soon. Sorry I don't have the link available.

I don't like any kind of leak on my vehicles so I crawled under it with flashlight and spectacles and started tracing the leak. It is dripping off the center front edge of the oil pan and goes up the right side (looking at the engine) of the timing cover and up the water pump front and ends. Looks like the weep hole to me. Water pump replacement is coming up and it being the orginial OEM on my 96 with only 104K miles makes me sad. My 95 with 260K is still running the OEM but it doesn't have the coolant filtration on it so did I create the leak by installing the filtration kit on my 96? Got it from DieselSite and the quality and ease of installation was perfect. I guess I will never know.
