help coolant leak like a rusty spicket!!!
97 7.3 coolant leak around front of motor by harmonic balancer. i let the truck sit for 2 days and had a puddle of coolant under it. i put in stop leak in and i dont see a puddle but can still smell coolant when running the truck. looks like it would be a pain in the rump to repair the gasket all the pullies would have to come off belts ect anyone else have this problem any advice on repair??

More than likely its just your water pump. When it starts leaking again carefully follow the leak upwards and you will probably find the weep hole under your water pump to be the source. If this is the case its time for new one, I recommend getting one with a lifetime warranty as you will probably need it.
